Company

Company

This section describes who ESMA Industry is, what purpose the company pursues and the principles on which decisions are taken. It contains no statement that cannot be substantiated.

Purpose

Purpose

ESMA Industry develops property projects, realises them and sells them. In doing so the company assumes the entire process – from finding and assessing a site through project development and construction to the sale of the completed property or apartment.

Our aim is not only to develop and realise exceptional property. Our aim is to build a company that convinces through structure, quality and long-term thinking.

“Our name is our promise. Every decision should strengthen it.”

Self-conception

Self-conception

How ESMA Industry works – and how it expressly does not.

How we work

  • We appear calm and self-assured.
  • We convince through quality rather than self-presentation.
  • We let our work speak for us.
  • We treat every person with the same regard – irrespective of function or background.
  • We document our work so that it can be followed.
  • We name mistakes openly and analyse their causes.

How we do not work

  • We do not exaggerate and we promise nothing we cannot substantiate.
  • We do not communicate loudly, sensationally or in a sales-driven manner.
  • We do not pass challenges on; we look for solutions.
  • We do not copy existing solutions merely because they are customary.
  • We do not decide for short-term success.

Values

Values

Four values form the basis of every decision. They are set out as binding in the ESMA Company Playbook.

  1. Quality

The ESMA standard applies in every area – from market analysis through land acquisition and project development to construction, sale and client care.

  2. Trust

Our reputation is not created through advertising but through reliable conduct over many years. Trust takes time and can be damaged by a single ill-considered decision.

  3. Innovation

The property industry changes slowly. We see an opportunity in this: question traditional processes, use technology where it serves a purpose, develop standards further.

  4. Responsibility

We do not develop projects for a few years but buildings intended to outlast generations. Responsibility applies towards residents, investors, partners and municipalities.

Leadership

Leadership

ESMA Industry is led by its two co-founders. Responsibilities are clearly assigned, decision paths are short.

CEO — co-founder

  • Corporate vision and strategy
  • Overall leadership of the company
  • Decisions on investments and new fields of business
  • Negotiations with business partners and investors
  • Representation of the company
  • Final decision on strategic questions

CFO — co-founder

  • Financial planning and budgeting
  • Liquidity management
  • Controlling and financial analysis
  • Financing of projects
  • Cooperation with banks and investors
  • Risk assessment from a financial perspective

Strategic decisions are prepared and discussed jointly. Where no agreement can be reached, final decision-making authority rests with the CEO. As the company grows, further areas of responsibility will be created and clearly defined.
