Standards
Standards
ESMA Industry works to recorded standards. They apply to quality, communication and documentation – and they apply irrespective of whether a project is large or small.
Principles
The principles on which decisions are taken
Four principles determine every decision within ESMA Industry. They are set out as binding in the ESMA Company Playbook.
The ESMA standard
We never settle for a solution merely because it is sufficient. Quality does not arise by chance but through a consistent way of working, careful planning and responsibility for every detail.
Evidence before assertion
Trust is not created by words but by consistent conduct. We communicate openly, take traceable decisions and stand by our commitments.
Questioning the established
We do not create innovation for its own sake. Data analysis, digital tools and new construction methods serve a purpose: better founded decisions and buildings that still convince decades from now.
Beyond the building
Every development changes its surroundings for decades. Alongside economic viability we examine urban quality, the quality of life of residents and the long-term benefit for the region.
Documentation
Documentation as a standard
At ESMA Industry, what is not documented does not count as decided.
Binding
- Decisions are recorded together with their basis.
- Information is published only once it is substantiated.
- Open information is marked as open, not estimated.
- Standards are reviewed and, where necessary, made more precise.
Foundations
Binding foundations
The standards rest on three internal documents.
| ESMA Company Playbook | Operational basis: standards, processes and ways of working. |
|---|---|
| ESMA Industry Brand Book | Binding basis for identity, logo, colours and typography. |
| Digital Implementation Constitution | Principles for this website: clarity, trust, timelessness. |
